It\u00a0<em>seems<\/em>\u00a0to be a common part of air and ground transportation because reports tend to focus there, with good reason. The very nature of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/es\/servicios\/vuelo-charter-aereo\/\">air cargo<\/a>\u00a0means that it\u2019s important cargo. However, misplaced shipments are a far less common occurrence than we think because, with the right partner, misplaced shipments can be prevented and\/or tracked down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Courier NetWork, every person on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/es\/servicios\/\">international courier team<\/a>\u00a0is invested in providing our customers with the highest level of service and security with respect to preventing and tracking down misplaced shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Misplacement Prevention<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"248\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Yellow-Expedited-Shipping1-248x300-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1630\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Our shipments stand out<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;We\u2019ve found the best way to avoid misplaced shipments is tomake our shipments stand out from all those other brown boxes and pallets of materials. We put each shipment in a yellow bag. If the shipment is too large for our bag, we use bright pink tape that says CNW and easy to view labels. Our colorfully packaged and marked shipments are easily recognized at every step of the way during transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>We let our carriers know in advance that a shipment is coming.<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Pre-alerting carriers draws attention to our shipments and enables everyone from the ground to air to be on the lookout for them. Carriers on the lookout for our shipments means misplaced packages are rarer for our customers, and on the rare occasion packages are misplaced, they are more readily tracked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"254\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Tarmac-Monitoring2-254x300-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1631\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Oversight at every stage is important.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Last year, our TMS system logged a total of 70,000shipments with less than a handful misplaced \u2013 and then tracked down. We have a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/es\/noticias-logisticas\/que-hace-bueno-a-un-socio-de-flete-aereo\/\">dedicated airline team<\/a>\u00a0that watches and tracks airlines. At major ports, such as Frankfurt, we have someone on the tarmac, watching the connections, taking photographs of our shipments, and staying with the aircraft until the doors are closed. This level of oversight enables us to confirm that our shipments are on the correct flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Every part of the freight\u2019s journey from door-to-door is checked and connected.<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/es\/noticias-logisticas\/exito-de-la-colaboracion-con-la-mensajeria-urgente\/\">international courier services<\/a>\u00a0are unsurpassed. We have a tried and true 13-milestone checklist.\u00a0 Some of the milestones on our checklist include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our TMS systems are connected to the airlines\u2019, providing us with real-time data<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We track flights, watching and recording every movement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our experts on the tarmac provide our clients with photographs of their shipments in our labeled bags, and photographs of the shipments being placed on the airplane<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We know where the packages we ship are at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Managing a Misplaced Shipment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>What happens in the rare event an international shipment has been misplaced?<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp; We send our agents to the origin and destination airports. An \u201ceye test\u201d is done to see if the shipment is there. We then set up a \u201ctrace\u201d group. Because we have such a solid system for keeping track of shipments from start to finish, we follow the trail methodically and thoroughly. Within one hour, a misplaced shipment is escalated to the carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"219\" src=\"https:\/\/cnwglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Tarmac-Monitoring-300x219-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1632\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What differentiates us?<em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>Relationships make the difference in our services<strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp; We have invested\u00a0time and care in building relationships with airlines.
