Challenge
A critical part from a factory in Melaka, Malaysia needed to make its way to Monterrey, Mexico in a hurry – but also needed to stop in Montreal, Canada for retooling. Other urgent courier services quoted a five day trip. We knew we could do better.
Solution
CNW immediately sprang into action, picking up the part via truck and put it on the next flight out to Amsterdam, which was immediately routed to Montreal. We worked our magic to clear it through Canadian customs, even though the office was closed when it arrived. After a quick retooling in Montreal, the part was flown to Mexico City, and ground shipped to Monterrey within a few hours.
Outcome
The shipment made it to its destination in three days – a full two days quicker than the competition had proposed. As a result, it saves the manufacturer a substantial penalty fee.
