BEATING THE CLOCK
When a shipment of parts needed to go from the Czech Republic to Mexico quickly, a CNW courier arrived to find the parts mixed in with others. Our agility and tenacity allowed us to identify the part and get it to its destination on time, despite a tight timeframe.
Challenge
A client needed to ship 70 kilos of car head rest retractors from the Czech Republic to Mexico. The goods were ready to be shipped at 2 p.m., and a CNW courier was dispatched for pickup. When he arrived, he found the shipment mixed in with other parts. With the clock running, he needed a solution.
Solution
The CNW courier immediately got to work breaking down three pallets of parts, determining which needed to go to Mexico. With the clock running out, he was able to identify the correct parts within an hour and navigated through heavy traffic to meet the on-board courier before the flight took off.
Outcome
The correct mission critical shipment landed in Guadalajara and was delivered to the assembly plant at Tlaquepaque, Jalisco by 10 p.m. the same day it left the warehouse in Europe.
